Fresh Water Transfer Bowser Types
The Fresh range of water transfer bowsers can be supplied as basic gravity feed, petrol-engined, or 12-volt pumped units to suit your needs.
We can offer, site tow (off-road use only), and highway tow (road legal/can be used on public highways) units.
The Fresh water transfer bowser comes as standard with a three-valve tap and a 3M hose for the most basic gravity feed option.
Then the options from this point can vary to suit specific needs.

Honda 1" Petrol Pump
Reliable Honda 1″ water pump supplied with a 8M delivery hose. Ideal for filling water troughs in remote locations where running water is not available.
Water Filling Kit
Great for sucking water from a natural water source, such as, as stream, river or lake to fill the water bowser tank ready for use.
NB: A very quick method of filling the bowser.
Drop Pin Connection
Option on the smaller sized bowsers (400 and 750 litre models).

Doubtful really. The water transfer bowser relies on gravity for the flow of water. Hence the height of the water bowser outlet in relation to the trough height plays an important part! Also, to a degree the distance from the bowser to trough (therefore hose length) plays a part in the flowrate of water. An alternative if the flow is too slow, could be to fill buckets from the drain tap. This will flow quickly and freely, then transfer the water to the troughs. Not an ideal solution! Ultimately buy the bowser with water pump. This is a real “game changer”
Stale water gets affected by sunlight when left in a tank. White, lighter colour tanks are a lot more susceptible to algae forming when compared to black tanks.
We call this “winterising the machine”
Two things are important!
- Drain all the water from the main tank.
- Drain all the water from the water pump sump.
- If possible store inside an out building away from the affect of the winter elements
