Blade set-up
Comprising 4 heavy-duty reversible blades mounted on a large hardened steel square plate, the rotary slasher can deliver over 2000 1-ton impact cuts per minute. The blade cutters provide a cleaner cut than chains when dealing with wood materials such as saplings, making them highly versatile.
Cutting Chains
In areas where tree stumps and boulders can damage the blades, the chain cutters come into play. Three high tensile chains mounted on a circular boss lacerate cut material more effectively than blades. They accelerate the breakdown of woody and fibrous scrub growth with minimal effort. This option is particularly advantageous for paddock topping, promoting quick regrowth of cut/mulched vegetation to enhance pasture quality.
Adjustable side skids
The adjustable side skids enhance the mower’s versatility, as replaceable wear shoes can be re-positioned to alter the cutting height. They are positioned so that the working width is only marginally less than the overall width allowing them to cut close to fence lines, trees in plantations, and other obstacles.
Fully-floating head
This standout feature, enables the machine to be dragged across rough ground with minimal stress to the frame. A galvanized chain reduces weight when lifted out of work.
