An ATV fertiliser spreader can be towed or mounted on a quad and used for efficiently and accurately applying fertilizer, seed, or granular salt to the land. It consists of a hopper to contain the granular products, a spinning disc or agitator to disperse the material, and a mechanism for controlled spreading.

This 73L capacity fertiliser spreader is powered by the forward speed of the towing vehicle. The wheels drive an all-metal gearbox, which in turn drives the spreading disc with four stainless steel vanes that distribute the materials. Wide-profile turf tyres provide a high grip while being gentle on grass surfaces.

The spread width ranges from 3 to 10 metres depending on your towing vehicle’s forward speed. An adjuster lever is conveniently positioned within reach of the driver’s seat, allowing for precise metering of the product being broadcast. This unit is perfect for broadcasting fertilizers and seeds on grass surfaces, covering up to 0.5 hectares per hour.

For those needing to spread salt on car parks and paths, a Salt Conversion Kit (ref: GAMSCK) is available, featuring a stainless steel agitator and a galvanized steel deflection guard.

Salt Broadcaster ATV Towed Galvanised Spreader 73L – Ref GAM73GALV

This ATV broadcaster spreader includes a galvanised steel hopper and deflection guard, also powered by the towing vehicle’s forward speed. It shares many features with the GAM73 model but has some differences. The spread width is 2-6M depending on the towing vehicle’s speed and the adjustment of the spread limiter (shroud).

To ensure the salt flows freely, a stainless steel agitator rotates within the hopper, breaking up any clumps. The agitator and guarding are easily removable for fertilizer and seed spreading, increasing the spread width up to 10M. The hopper also comes with a rain-proof sheet to keep the salt dry.

If you only need to spread fertilizer or seed, consider the GAM73 model. A higher-capacity salt spreader range is also available. The Snowex salt spreaders can be mounted onto a UTV or 4×4 vehicle for de-icing roads, and sidewalks.
