SCH Tractor Mounted Chain Harrow Types

The tractor frame-mounted chain harrows in the SCH range come in two sizes: 1.22M wide and 2.4M wide. Both sizes use a 3-point linkage system that is operated from the PTO on a CAT-1 linkage. However, lawn tractors may have a different type of lift-lower functionality.

Compared to trailed “mat type” chain harrows, the main advantage of these frame-mounted harrows is that they can be lifted and lowered using the on-board tractor hydraulics. This makes transportation between locations easier, ensures more accurate corner positioning for harrowing, and helps clear debris from the harrows themselves by lifting the whole frame up for cleaning.
