Winton Tractor Rotavator

Preparing the soil for planting is easy with the Winton tractor rotovator. This compact tractor attachment works with the 3-point linkage of most tractors. Its durable design and powerful heavy-duty rotor blades provide a fine tilth ready for planting.

These tractor mounted units feature a chain and gear drive system, with a shear bolt PTO for enhanced safety, and heavy-duty gearboxes.

Adjustable skids offer flexibility, and the rear flap creates a smooth finish with a maximum depth of 15cm. Customizable to your preference, the flap can be elevated or lowered to “smooth” the surface giving you the finishing of choice. An upgrade to a “slip clutch” PTO shaft is also available.

How to Use Winton Cultivator

Begin by ensuring safety measures are in place, including checking and clearing the area of debris. Then initiate the PTO drive at 540rpm and gradually lower the machine to the ground slowing speed to avoid strain.

If the ground is compacted consider two passes at a shallower depth initially, followed by a deeper second pass. Optimal performance is achieved on moderately solid, not overly wet soil—sandy areas are preferable over compacted clay.
