Winton Topper Mower
The Winton topper mower comes in four sizes. It is designed to attach to compact and medium-sized tractors, catering to smallholders, equestrians, and hobby farmers alike.
The WTM toppers have a direct drive from the tractor’s PTO via a connecting drive shaft to the gearbox. This, in return, offers a direct connection to the blade carrier which has two swinging tip cutter blades at each end.
Typically, these mowers are used for topping fields and paddocks.
What does this topper mower cut?Â
Winton toppers are suitable for standard vegetation, from grass, nettles, and docks, to lighter thistles, and brambles. If you need to cut heavier, more challenging vegetation you will probably need a flail mower!
It is worth noting by the nature of the “rotary” cutting blades and action, longer grass cuttings are left! Again, if you want/need finer, more evenly cut vegetation, you would be better off with a flail mower.
