The MTX(P) Tractor Paddock Sweeper is an ideal choice for equestrian centers and farms. It features a powerful onboard engine (MTX120(E)) and mirrors the functionality of ATV paddock sweepers. This PTO-driven paddock sweeper efficiently eliminates manure and debris, ensuring clean and healthy pastures for livestock.

Designed for ease of use, the MTX models are towable and equipped with fixed front wheels and rear castor wheels. The PTO drives the brush shaft, replacing the need for a traditional engine. Additionally, the unit includes a manual winch tipping hopper at ground level for simple and efficient emptying.

STX Tractor Paddock Sweeper

The STX Tractor Paddock Sweepers come in two brush widths—1.2M and 1.8M—making them perfect for contracting and commercial applications. These Wessex paddock sweepers feature a robust 4-wheel design that enhances stability, along with a large hopper that offers high-lift tip/discharge functionality.

With large rear wheels and front castors, these PTO-powered paddock sweepers provide excellent stability and manoeuvrability. The sprung steel tines effectively loosen stubborn debris, while durable brushes collect it into the hopper. The hopper tilts using a hydraulic ram, allowing for easy unloading up to 1.5M.

Featuring a brushing width of 1.2 meters, this equipment boasts a ground-level tipping mechanism, enhancing efficiency and ease of use.

Wessex STX120 Tractor Paddock Sweeper Model

Requiring the power of an 18HP tractor for efficient operation, this paddock sweeper features a sweeping width of 1.2M, a high tip discharge reaching 1.5M, and a substantial 1500L hopper capacity.

Wessex STX180

With the largest capacity hopper, this model boasts a brushing width of 1.8M and a high tip discharge, for effective waste disposal.

Flail Blades Only

The rotor on the flail blades and scarifier knives remains the same. To save costs and storage space, you can manually switch the flails to scarifier knives and vice versa.

Scarifier Knives Only

Both scarifier knives and flail blades use the same rotor. This interchangeability allows for a cost-effective and space-saving solution, enabling an easy switch between blade types.

Can the paddock sweeper brush scarifiy the paddocks?

NO! It is very important to understand these are paddock sweepers for sweeping up dung primarily. By default the sweeping action will collect a lot of dead grass whilst poo sweeping BUT please do not over adjust the brush to try and scarify as this will damage the machine!

Are Wessex paddock sweepers manufactured in the UK?

Yes, they are and proudly so.

What horsepower is required to run the MTX (P) and the STX models?

MTX(P) = 18HP +
STX = 20HP +

On both models it should be noted that these are designed for use with compact to medium sized tractors to a maximum of 50HP.
