ATV Paddock Toppers or rotary mowers are available as self-powered or tractor-mounted units. They can be towed behind any motorized vehicle, from a ride-on lawnmower to an ATV quad bike, UTV, or compact tractor.
The Chapman RM range of field mowers has three heavy-duty 6mm thick steel cutting blades with a unique high back sweep to lift the grass to enable a cleaner cut.
The Honda commercial-grade GXV390cc – 13HP engine powers the topper for cutting through overgrown grass, weeds, nettles, docks, and young thistles. The mower is equally at home mowing parkland areas, golf courses, fruit orchards, and other regularly well-maintained grassed and lawn areas.
Proudly designed and manufactured in the UK with excellent, simple design features offering superb machine functionality. Chapman produces high-specification products using quality components throughout. Manufacturing from start to finish “in-house” ensures the result products are long-lasting with a great finish. Shot blasting and powder coating provides a quality look.

RM120 Chapman ATV Topper
1.2M cutting width powered by the Honda GX390 commercial engine, this mower is a great paddock topper typically towed behind ATVs and UTVs and used on smallholdings and equestrian yards alike.
Another popular application is orchard mowing, which by being a little smaller enables the manoeuvrability around trees to be that little bit easier.
RM150 Chapman Topper Model
In essence, the Chapman RM150 has the same setup as the RM120 but slightly more “beefed up” to cut that extra 12 inches than the RM120 model.

- Drawbar can be offset (5 positions) ideal for up to the edge mowing and also useful when towing behind a normal 4WD motor vehicle.
- Two cutting widths available - 1.2M and 1.5M
- Powered by a "easy-start decompression Honda 13HP commercial grade engine for reliability fitted with an oil alert system.

- Single stop, start, choke and throttle which is extendable to operate from a ATV quad bike or similar towing vehicle.
Electric Start
Simple press button start for those who finds pull starts difficult. Whilst still have the recoil pull start there as a backup if ever needed.
